Have classic motorcycle auctions gone crazy or is $20,000 a good price for a 1975 Suzuki TM250 dirt bike?

Not just any old TM250 though. This one is brand new and still in its dealer packing crate.

“Like new in every way! Comes with original owners manual, tool kit. Located in Gardner, northern Massachussetts,” said the seller, auctioneers J Wood in the US.

The Suzuki was on sale through online auction site HiBid.com which deals in cars, vintage motorcycles, speedboats, old tractors and much more. It eventually sold for $19,750 with costs on top.

HiBid is a massive business with almost 668,000 lots were sold between April 17 and 23, realising more than $53.8 million in gross merchandise value and a total hammer value surpassing $89.2 million.
